It has been confirmed that a grand Table Tennis competition will take place in St. Kitts on Saturday 15th September, as part of the Pre independence celebratory activities.
The tournament is open to all and sundry: Males and females of all ages and registration will close this coming Thursday -13th September.
The top prizes will be awarded as follows:
Female winner –trophy and a gold medal
Second and third placers will receive silver and bronze medals respectively.
In preparation for the tournament, an Umpires’ workshop was held in St. Kitts on the 3rd and 4th of September and five brand new referees graduated from the course: Three from St. Kitts and two from Nevis.
The two Nevisians are: Shefton Daniel and Curtis Morton Jr.
Daniel and Morton have also been especially invited to participate in the upcoming pre independence tournament, slated for Saturday.
