BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, September 6, 2026 – The Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) said Sunday that it is with “profound sadness and a heavy heart that we express our deepest condolences” on the passing of Ms Zidane Soleil Knight, a cherished MOFA Scholarship recipient from Saint Kitts and Nevis studying in Taiwan.
“Ms Knight was a bright, dedicated, and inspiring young student committed to expanding her horizons and pursuing academic excellence. Her departure is a heartbreaking loss, felt deeply across both of our communities.
To her grieving family, loved ones, classmates, and friends: please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of immense sorrow.
May her soul rest in eternal peace,” the Taiwan Embassy said.
