Brades, Monsterrat – Team Nevis will face off against Anguilla in the finals of the Leeward Islands Debating Competition today Sunday, March 1, 2020, starting at 5 pm.
Nevis made it to its fourth consecutive finals by overpowering St. Kitts in the semi-finals held last evening in Monsterrat.
Nevis, who proposed the moot ‘the technological age has caused serve dilution of authentic Caribbean culture’ racked up a total of 591 points to St. Kitts 552 points.
Nevisian Dahlia Slack was adjudged best speaker.
