BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, March 14, 2026 — The Basseterre High School Robomindset Club has proudly introduced the team that will represent Saint Kitts and Nevis at the upcoming OECS Regional Robotics Challenge.
The event will take place from March 16 to 20 at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort & The Royal Beach Casino.
The team is led by coach Mrs Shirmoy Blake, who has guided and supported the students in developing their robotics, innovation, and problem-solving skills. The student leadership team includes Azaan Harley (President), Tejhyuani Charles (Vice President), and Arielle Huie (Public Relations Officer).
“These talented students will proudly showcase their abilities as they compete with teams from across the region. Their participation highlights the dedication of the Robomindset Club in encouraging students to explore STEM while building creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking,” said BHS Principal Mr Damon Bacchus.
Representing both Basseterre High School and St. Kitts and Nevis, the team carries the pride and support of their school community and the wider nation. Their hard work and commitment reflect the spirit of excellence that the school continues to foster.
Mr. Bacchus also expressed thanks to the Office of the Prime Minister St. Kitts and Nevis and the St. Kitts and Nevis Robotics Association and their staff for their tremendous support.
“We wish the team all the very best as they compete in the Regional Robotics Challenge and make Basseterre High School and St. Kitts and Nevis proud,” he said.
