Charlestown, Nevis – Persons interested in taking part in a jingle competition, being hosted by the Premier of Nevis, Hon. Mark Brantley, just have about two days left, in order to make submissions.

Premier Brantley, in a Facebook post last week, indicated that as a means of assisting persons to pass the current lock downtime at home, in a meaningful manner, he has organized what he refers to as ‘a COVID-19 STAY AT HOME FREESTYLE JINGLE COMPETITION.’

The competition is open to RESIDENTS ON NEVIS and has two basic categories: Under 15 Years and Over 15 Years

There are some lucrative monetary rewards up for grabs:

Under 15 category:

The rules outlined indicate that the jingle must be positive; have a message about COVID-19 and contain no profanity (indecent langauge).

The participants must post their submissions on Facebook and then tag the post to Premier Brantley.

The winners will be decided by the number of original LIKES to the post.

The competition closes at midnight on Wednesday 22nd April and the winners will be announced by noon on Thursday 23rd April.

Prize monies will be distributed to the winners during the morning hours of Friday 24th April.

In the meantime, quite a number of individuals have already posted their submissions.
