Basseterre, St. Kitts  — The St. Kitts and Nevis Tourism Authorities joined forces with the Government to promote our twin-island Federation, combining resources, relationships and expertise to strengthen the visibility of St. Kitts and Nevis in the Canadian market from 23rd to 29th September 2026

Led by the Honourable Marsha T. Henderson, Minister of Tourism, the delegation undertook four days of strategic engagements focused on building destination awareness, strengthening travel trade partnerships and deepening connections with our diaspora.

Minister Henderson delivered the keynote address at the inaugural Caribbean Tourism Investment Forum, sharing perspectives on tourism, investment and opportunities for stronger Canada–Caribbean partnerships. Her message was further amplified through an iHeart podcast, taking the St. Kitts and Nevis story to an even wider audience.

In collaboration with Honorary Consul General John Allen and Ms Tara Hodge, the team also connected directly with members of the diaspora, creating valuable opportunities for engagement, networking and renewed connection to home.

Mrs Melnecia Marshall, Deputy CEO of the St. Kitts Tourism Authority, and Mr Phéon Jones, Director of Sales and Marketing, North America, Nevis Tourism Authority, continued the momentum of the “We Limin’” Diaspora Programme, engaging nationals and friends of the Federation and encouraging them to become active ambassadors for the Federation with the soft launch of the Jet Home Challenge.

The four days culminated with “St. Kitts and Nevis Uncovered,” a special travel advisor luncheon designed to take our trade partners beyond the familiar and reveal the hidden gems of our islands through food, culture and the stories that are authentically ours.

From investment and trade to diaspora and culture, with the early start of Air Canada Rouge on 31st October, the mission reflected the power of collaboration and a shared commitment to positioning St. Kitts and Nevis for continued tourism growth.

Two islands. One Federation. One unforgettable Caribbean destination.
