Basseterre, St. Kitts, March 07, 2017, (RSCNPF): Below is a report of Arrests, Convictions and other activities recorded by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force for the period March 3rd – 6th 2017,
ARREST AND BAIL:
Arrested: Ezrian Francis of Soho Housing Development was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of possession of cannabis and possession of cannabis with the intent to supply
Arrested: Hakeem Frederick of Farms Site, Sandy Point was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of shooting at with intent which was committed on 2nd March 2017.
Arrested: Jamarie James Morris of Malone Avenue, Mc Knight was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Larceny on a warrant in the first instance. Offence was committed on March 01, 2017.
Arrested: Andrew Herbert of Caunt Street was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Larceny on a warrant in the first instance. Offence was committed on March 01, 2017.
Arrested: Leo Christian of Spooners, Cayon was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Larceny. Offence was committed on February 24, 2017 at Sports Zone, Circus Basseterre.
Arrested: Jamarie James of Lower Malone Avenue was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of receiving and unlawful possession
Arrested: Dijon Liburd of Conyers Village was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Possession of Cannabis. He was granted bail in the sum of $5000.00 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on April 03, 2017.
OTHER ACTIVITY:
Housebreaking and Larceny: Police is investigating a number of House breakings that have occurred in the following area: Greenland’s Park, Conaree Village and Bird Rock
Marijuana Plants Uprooted: Officers reported that they discovered and uprooted eighteen (18) marijuana plants ranging from seedlings to two feet in height growing in the Farm Site Area.
Search Warrant Executed: Police executed a number of search warrants over the period of this report. The Warrants were executed in the following areas: Conyers Village, Brunder Avenue, Farm’s site (Sandy Point), Ottleys Village and Lodge Estate
Abandoned Properties Search: Police continues to execute searches of abandoned properties; most recent searches were done in the following areas: Durant Avenue Mcknight, Davis Road (St. Paul’s), Warren Street (Village) and Hart Street / Shaw Avenue both areas of Newtown.
Traffic Accidents: There were twenty (20) accidents on the federation’s roadways (14) in St. Kitts and (6) in Nevis during the period of this report.
Community Engagement: Police continue to engage the communities where they serve by conducting community patrols, meet and greets and other similar activities.
