**The UWI Global Campus St. Kitts and Nevis**
On Saturday, May 23, 2025, the University of the West Indies (The UWI) Global Campus Guild Executive for the St. Kitts and Nevis Chapter hosted a ceremony to honour sixty-four students who achieved Honour Roll status for Semester 1 of the 2024-2025 academic year. Of these students, thirty-four were from St. Kitts and thirty from Nevis, all having attained a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.6 or higher.

The ceremony featured a symbolic passing of the baton as the outgoing Guild Executive officially transferred responsibilities to the incoming 2025/2026 team, marking the start of a new chapter in student leadership and service.

Mrs. Kayla Farrell Mills, a UWI alumna, chaired the proceedings. The Honourable Dr. Geoffrey Hanley, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education and other portfolios, delivered congratulatory remarks and assisted in presenting certificates to the awardees.
A particularly emotional moment was the posthumous recognition of Ms. Chiclanker Ramsey, an Honour Roll awardee who recently passed away. Her two daughters, mother, and fiancé were present to receive her certificate and a token on her behalf, a tribute that deeply touched everyone in attendance.
The staff and Guild Executive of The UWI Global Campus St. Kitts and Nevis extend their congratulations to the students on their remarkable achievements and express gratitude to the sponsors who made this event possible.
