THREE MORE CHARGES LAID AGAINST BROADBELT

Basseterre, St. Kitts, May 04, 2015 (RSCNPF):  Three more charges for the offence of House Breaking and Larceny have been laid against Allan Broadbelt a resident of Bath village, Nevis.

Broadbelt was arrested last week and formally charged and cautioned for the offences of House Breaking and Larceny committed between 19-20 July 2014 in Farms Estate Nevis.

On Tuesday (May 5) additional charges were filed against him for a House Breaking and Larceny that occurred in the Stoney Grove area of Nevis on Oct 6, 2015.  Additional House Breaking and Larceny charges were also laid for an incident in Farms Estate that occurred during the period October 4-10, 2015 and one that occurred between  October 10-24 in Nugent Heights.

The charges stem from the discovery of a cache of stolen items that were found in his home in Bath Village.  Officers of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force and the St. Kitts and Nevis Defence Force while executing a search warrant on Thursday (April 28) discovered the items.

The find included furniture, electronics, air conditioning units, groceries, construction supplies and tools and other items.

The investigation is ongoing.
