BASSETERRE, St. Kitts — Timothy Hughes of Shadwell, St. Kitts, has been formally charged with the offences of Carrying an Offensive Weapon in a Public Place and Resisting Arrest.
The offences were allegedly committed on May 16, 2026, at Bay Road, Basseterre. Mr Hughes was subsequently charged on May 18, 2026, at the Basseterre Police Station.
The matter is expected to proceed before the courts.
