Basseterre, St. Kitts, April 26, 2020 (RSCNPF): No one was injured in a traffic accident that involved five vehicles along Shaw Avenue and Upper Fiennes Avenue.
The accident occurred at approximately 11:25 a.m. on Thursday (April 23) and involved motorcar PB 4385 which is owned and was being driven by Pijmah Jones of Upper Fiennes Avenue and several other motor vehicles.
Circumstances are that Jones was driving along Upper Shaw Avenue to Central Street when unknown assailants began throwing missiles at his vehicle. In an effort to evade them, he drove onto Central Street and collided with the left rear end of motor jeep 4747 which was travelling east to west along Central Street. Jones continued driving and further collided with motor cars PB 5767, PB 682 and PB 4332, which were parked on Upper Fiennes Avenue, causing his vehicle to flip on its right side.
Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
