(CHARLESTOWN NEVIS)- Three vehicles were involved in a traffic accident on the morning of Monday, September 23, 2013 at around 7:45 a.m. along the island main road in the vicinity of Noel’s Courtesy Garage and S.L. Horsford Nevis Center. No injuries were reported.
The chain of events started when a car, headed in the direction of Gingerland collided with a passenger bus which was headed to Charlestown. It was reported that the severity of that crash was so intense that the bus which was on the left hand side coming down was thrown off the road. As a result of that another car that was driving behind the bus collided head-on with the car.
Unconfirmed reports have said that the accident occurred as the driver of the motor car which was headed in the Gingerland direction, lost control of the vehicle.
The accident is now being investigated by the Traffic Department of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force.
