NIA CHARLESTOWN NEVIS (July 29, 2019) – The following is an announcement from the Premier’s Ministry regarding traffic arrangements to accommodate the annual memorial service on August 01, 2019, for the 49th Anniversary of the MV Christena Disaster.
The memorial service to commemorate the 49th Anniversary of the MV Christena Disaster will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 01, 2019 at the Christena Memorial on the Samuel Hunkins Drive.
The public is therefore advised that the area surrounding the Hamilton Museum on the Samuel Hunkins Drive will be blocked from 6:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon to facilitate this service.
