Traffic Court Convictions Basseterre Magistrate’s Court

Basseterre, St. Kitts – October 2025 – The following motorists recently appeared before the Basseterre Magistrate’s Court, where they were convicted and fined for traffic-related offences, including careless driving and driving without due care and attention.

Brent Fleming of Keys Village – Pleaded guilty to Driving without Due Care and Attention (July 3, 2025). Fined $1,500, to be paid within three months, or in default, two months imprisonment.

Wendell Wilson of Bird Rock – Pleaded guilty to Driving without Due Care and Attention (March 15, 2024). Fined $800, to be paid within two months, or in default, one month imprisonment.

Roy Rogers of St. Peters – Pleaded guilty to Driving without Due Care and Attention (January 13, 2025). Fined $800, to be paid within three months, or in default, one month imprisonment.

Candice Brandy of Lodge – Pleaded guilty to Driving without Due Care and Attention (February 20, 2025). Fined $800, to be paid within two months, or in default, one month imprisonment.

Glenroy Leader of Bird Rock – Pleaded guilty to Driving without Due Care and Attention (March 15, 2025). Fined $800, to be paid within two months, or in default, one month imprisonment.

Laura Wright of Half Moon – Pleaded guilty to Driving without Due Care and Attention (April 24, 2025). Fined $800, to be paid within two months, or in default, one month imprisonment.

Anetta Tobiere of Basseterre – Pleaded guilty to Careless Driving (July 3, 2025). Fined $500, payable forthwith, or in default, 14 days imprisonment.

Miguel Hanif Riley of Challengers – Pleaded guilty to Driving without Insurance (May 2, 2025). Fined $850, to be paid within three months, or in default, two months imprisonment.

Frank Ugboh of Cunningham Street – Pleaded guilty to Driving without Due Care (May 2, 2025). Fined $800, to be paid within two months, or in default, one month imprisonment.

Duran Merchant of New Road – Pleaded guilty to Driving without Due Care (May 2, 2025). Fined $800, to be paid within two months, or in default, one month imprisonment.
