(CHARLESTOWN NEVIS)- On the afternoon of Wednesday, July 22, 2015 a young man tragically lost his life in a traffic accident.
Information reaching this media house indicated, that Shaquille Bertie of Paradise Estate was traveling along the island main road in the region of Cotton Ground, when he lost control of the motorcycle and was forcefully thrown into a pole.
It was also reported, that after Bertie impacted the pole, he was thrown from the motorbike into a nearby yard.
He was transported to the Alexandra Hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Shaquille Bertie, was the son of Inspector Conrad Bertie of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force.
