Basseterre, St. Kitts, August 19, 2022 (RSCNPF): The Police have arrested and charged 38-year-old Iroy Marshall of Main Street, Saddlers Village and 43-year-old Samuel Maynard of Dieppe Bay for the offences of Possession of Firearms and Possession of Ammunitions. They were charged on August 18, 2022.
On August 16, 2022, the Police searched a fishing vessel marked Issiah with registration #V4-600-DB in the Dieppe Bay area. The vessel was owned and operated by Marshall and Maynard was a passenger. During the search, the Police found one (1) AK-47 rifle with a scope with sixty-four (64) 7.62mm rounds of ammunition and one (1) Taurus semi-automatic 9mm pistol with laser with one hundred and fifty-two (152) 9mm rounds of ammunition. Marshall and Maynard are both in Police custody.
