The Violent Crime Unit (VCU) on Nevis is investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Wednesday at or about 10:30 pm at Pinney’s Beach.
Initial investigations revealed that Shawn “Fisherman” Chatram of Stoney Grove was attacked by an assailant, whom he identified as his son. Chatram received multiple gun shot injuries. His son is currently in police custody assisting with the investigations. Shawn “Fisherman” Chatram is in serious but stable condition and may required treatment outside the Federation.
