Vacancy – UNRWA Senior Planning, Partnership and Advocacy Coordinator

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) invites interested persons to apply for the position of Senior Planning Partnership and Advocacy Coordinator in Beirut, Lebanon.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to leading LFO work to establish clear advocacy messages, related actions and desired outcomes for identified key stakeholder groups such as Government, civil society and UN organisations. This task will encompass chairing the advocacy task force made up of senior colleagues from across LFO as well as representing the Director at important external meetings and towards high level representatives of key partners and interlocutors.

Candidates are required to have knowledge of activities of UNRWA operations and services; knowledge of Middle Eastern geo-political realities and its socio-cultural implications and experience with United Nations administration/financial policies and practices.
