HARDTIMES, NEVIS — September 28, 2026 — Villa United delivered a dominant performance on Sunday, September 27, defeating Windward by 45 runs to capture the title in the grand final of the 2026 Hard Times Tape Ball Tournament at the Hard Times Playing Field.
After winning the toss, Windward elected to field first, sending Villa United to the crease. The decision proved challenging as Villa United mounted a formidable total, racking up an impressive 170 runs in their allotted 15 overs. Man of the Match Chris anchored the innings with a spectacular 80.
In reply, Windward struggled to match the required run rate against Villa United’s disciplined bowling attack, finishing their 15 overs at 125 for 9.
