Vinceroy Chumney Sentenced for House Breaking & Larceny

Vinceroy Chumney of Keys Village, St. Kitts, has been sentenced to His Majesty’s Prison for three counts of housebreaking and larceny, as well as one count of larceny from a dwelling house. The three incidents of housebreaking and larceny occurred on November 29, December 19, and December 20, 2023, while the charge of larceny from a dwelling house took place on December 21, 2023. Mr. Chumney pleaded guilty to all charges on March 3, 2025, and was subsequently sentenced on April 15, 2025.

For each of the housebreaking and larceny charges, Mr. Chumney received a sentence of three years of imprisonment. For the charge of larceny from a dwelling house, he was sentenced to four years. All sentences will run concurrently, and the time spent on remand will be counted as time served. The sentences were imposed at the High Court in Basseterre by His Lordship Justice Iain Morley, KC.
