Barnaby-Nevis-Family members and representatives of the Ministry of Social Development on Nevis were present at the home of Mrs. Violet Viola Perkins on Friday 20th April.
On that significant day the esteemed lady celebrated her 80th birthday.

In reading a profile of the ‘birthday girl,’ Mr. Glasgow described her as a ‘vivacious confident loving and kind individual,’ as he expounded on some of her attributes.
He also spoke to her unparalled generosity before presenting her with a plaque and a fruit basket complements of his Ministry in collaboration with the City Drug Store.
Family members including the children and grandchildren present also paid glowing tributes to the family matriarch.
In her response Mrs. Perkins thanked God for extending her life to see the significant milestone and thanked her family members and the Ministry of Social Development for making her birthday such a memorable one.
