VOJN Primary School Hosts Annual Road Relay Championships

VOJN Primary School came alive with excitement on Thursday, January 22, as it hosted its annual road relay championships, drawing enthusiastic participation from students and strong support from spectators.

The junior mixed teams tackled a compact but challenging course, starting from the school compound, running through the nearby housing project, and returning to the school while exchanging batons along the route. The senior mixed teams faced a more demanding test, following a similar path through the housing project before extending further down the road, looping through an additional housing area, and finishing at the school’s main gate.

Competition was keen in both divisions. In the junior category, Green House captured first place, followed by Blue House in second and Gold House in third. The senior races saw Blue House emerge victorious, with Gold House finishing second and Green House taking third place.

Following the completion of the event, the overall point standings reflected how closely contested the relays were. Green Stallions and Blue Warriors are tied at the top with 15 points each, while Gold Tigers sit just one point behind with 14.

The successful staging of the road relays highlighted the school’s commitment to athletics and teamwork, while setting the stage for an exciting continuation of VOJN Primary School’s sporting season.
