VOJN Takes Care of IWPS

In the first match of the Runako Morton/TDC Primary Schools’ cricket tournament, VOJN engaged the IWPS team at the ET Willet Park, on Wednesday 21st June.

VOJN won the toss and elected to bat first, but after a few exceptional shots for starters, the IWPS team sent shock waves into their camp, with a superb fielding effort, sending back two of their top batsmen, with only 14 runs on the board.

However, Kamari France and Dejuan Phillip got together in an exciting partnership, that helped their team to an eventual, healthy total of 93 for 4 from their allotted 10 overs.

IWPS in response, lost wickets regularly, to the steady and accurate bowling of the VOJN bowlers and succumbed at 32 for 8 from their 10 overs.
