The Local Weather Forecast for St Kitts and Nevis: Today: Partly cloudy with a good chance of some light passing showers at first, then becoming sunny with a low chance later in the morning and into the afternoon.

Tonight: Partly cloudy to cloudy with a good chance of some passing showers.

THE EASTERN CARIBBEAN FORECAST: Moisture and weak instability associated with a weak trough will increase the chance of some cloudy periods with scattered showers over Hispaniola, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands today and tonight.

There is also a slight chance of afternoon thunderstorms over the islands.

Meanwhile, some deep moisture and instability moving ahead of an area of low pressure which is located east of the Southern Caribbean will cause cloudy skies, showers and thunderstorms over the Windward Islands today and tonight.

The rest of the Eastern Caribbean will be stable today with only a light passing shower possible under mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies.

However, later tonight, some shallow moisture moving into the Leeward Islands from the east could increase the chance of some cloudy spells and some passing showers.
