Young Missionaries Educate Local Students

Charlestown-Nevis–The visiting group of youthful missionary workers from the Washington Seventh Day Adventist University, is not only involved in hosting a week long series of evangelistic meetings at the Villa in Charlestown, but have set out to impact the youth of Nevis in a holistic manner.

During the course of the week, the missionaries split up into groups of twos and threes and visited some of the Primary schools on Nevis where they interacted with the students on various relevant issues.
They used the opportunity to educate the students on such topics as
oral hygiene; exercise and fitness; bullying and nutrition.

Some of the schools impacted were: The St.Thomas’ Primary school; Violet OJ Nicholls Primary;  Elizabeth Pemberton Primary and Jocelyn Liburd Primary School.

After a rest night on Thursday 14th May, the group will continue its evangelistic series under the big yellow and white tent located at the Charlestown Secondary School’s grounds aka the Villa , on the evening of Friday 15th May starting at 7 pm and will have the grand finale on Saturday 16th May with sessions that run from 9 am that morning until sometime after 6 pm, at the same venue.

The general public is cordially invited to be a part of the remainder of the series of meetings.
