There was more action at the Hard Times play field on Sunday 8th July, as the organizers of the VPL Cricket league continue in their quest to keep the Cricket action ongoing, on a weekly basis.
Sunday 9th July, saw a three teams contest at the Hard Times playing field, as the series of friendly matches continued.
In game one, Easterns came up against Best Buy Young Warriors, who are incidentally the champions of the VPL league for 2018.
The Young Warriors batted first and truly went on the war path, racking up 133 in only 10 overs.
A deflated Easterns team could only respond with 52 for 4 in their 10 overs.
In the grand finale, another 10 overs affair, Best Buy Young Warriors engaged home team, Bush Whackers.
