Youths of Nevis Edge Empire in Nail Biter

Game two of the Harvey Stapleton T-20 tournament played on Saturday 8th January, ended in a nail-biting finish.

Youths of Nevis matched skills against the Empire team.

The youths batted first and led by Kittitian Akeem Saunders, got to a formidable 170 in their allotted 20 overs.

Empire, however, got into an exciting run chase in response, led by the aggression of Reon Solomon, Rachad Forde and Joel Simmonds.

However, with 7 runs required from the last over, the Youths ensured that Simmonds was kept away from the strike, for most of the over and came away the victors.
