It has been confirmed that the newly revived Leeward Islands Basketball tournament, will be played in Anguilla from 13 to 17th December 2016.
The six participating teams are zoned as follows:
Group A: Barbuda; BVI and St.Kitts
Group B: Anguilla, Montserrat and Nevis
The schedule of matches is as follows:
December 13th: Opening ceremony-6 pm
BVI v Barbuda at 7.00 pm
Anguilla v Nevis at 9 pm
December 14th:
Barbuda v St. Kitts at 7 pm
Anguilla v Montserrat at 0 pm
December 15th:
Montserrat v Nevis at 7 pm
BVI v St. Kitts at 9 pm
December 16th
Group A3 v Group B3 at 2 pm-position 5 and 6
Group B1 v Group A2 at 7 pm-semi- finals one
Group A1 v Group B2 at 9 pm-semi -finals 2
December 17th:
Loser game 8 v loser game 9- 6 pm-position 3 and 4
Winner game 8 v winner game 9 at 8 pm- position one and two
Presentation ceremony at 10 pm
