CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS (February 26th 2013) — Sat. March 2nd is the date set for the highly anticipated local netball league which would be hosted by the Nevis Netball Association [NNA].
Saturday’s league comes just months after an exciting and invigorating business league that sought to revive the sport on Nevis.
While the executive body of the NNA is calling on teams to register quickly for the upcoming league, the association’s Secretary Tricia Williams, says “all clubs and members with outstanding dues are expected to pay such in order to be able to take part in any competition.”
“Clubs,” she continued, “are required to pay EC$25.00 while individual members are required to pay EC$15.00.”
Williams was at the time speaking following the association’s recently held Annual General Meeting [AGM] at the Cicely Grell-Hull Dora Stevens Netball Complex.
