It is not a well-known game—even the pronunciation of the Italian sport can be a bit of a tongue twister (pronounced BOCHI).
However, the Special athletes of St. Kitts and Nevis competed with some energy, against one another in the wonderful sport on Thursday 3rd May.
The action was held at the court situated at the Cecely Browne Integrated School (CBIS), in Nevis.
Athletes from both St. Kitts and Nevis participated and thoroughly entertained the curious spectators on hand.
It all commenced with a brief opening ceremony, ably chaired by Mrs. Judy Rawlins, which featured addresses for Director of Sports, Mr. Jamir Claxton and the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Social Development/Sports et al, Mr. Keith Glasgow, who officially declared the competition open.
The invocation was delivered by Miss Sonia Williams and the vote of thanks was done by Mrs. Clarice Cotton
To commence the proceedings on the court, there was a bowl off between PS Glasgow and Sports Director, Jamir Claxton, then the real competition began.

Medals were presented to all participants and it was really a day of lovely weather with the Special Olympics Family.
