Basseterre, St Kitts, January 6, 2020 – The Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court has announced that Justice Patrick Thompson Jr has been assigned to the St Kitts Circuit for the next three months in an acting capacity.
Mr Thompson’s acting appointment in Basseterre coincides with the re-assignment of Resident High Court Judge in St Kitts, His Lordship Mr Justice Trevor Ward, QC, to a similar three month stint in Tortola, British Virgin Islands.
Justice Ward and Acting Justice Thompson will serve in Road Town (Tortola) and Basseterre (St Kitts) respectively from 11th January to 9th April, 2020.
It was not immediately clear if Justice Ward QC will return to Basseterre after his Tortola assignment.
