The Nevis Cricket Association (NCA) continued its preparations for the upcoming Leeward Islands 50-Overs Tournament with a competitive trial match on Sunday, October 12th, at the Brown Hill Recreation Ground.
The fixture featured some of Nevis’ top-performing players from the recent local competition, all eager to secure a place in the island’s representative squad.
Although official match scores were unavailable at press time, several standout performances caught the eye. Theron Bussue impressed with the ball, claiming three wickets, while Ross Powell added excitement to the day with a spectacular catch at short extra cover — one described by spectators as “near impossible.”
