Basseterre, St. Kitts — October 29, 2025:
Craig Mills of King Street, Basseterre, and Jahmal Kentish of Stonefort Heights, Challengers, have both been sentenced to terms of imprisonment at His Majesty’s Prison for their involvement in a robbery committed at InstaCash in Basseterre on October 14, 2023.

Mr Mills, who initially pleaded not guilty, later changed his plea to guilty on the charge of robbery. He was sentenced to eleven (11) years’ imprisonment, with time spent on remand to be deducted and one-third remission for good behaviour to be applied in accordance with prison policy.

His co-defendant, Mr Kentish, who entered a guilty plea in March 2025, was sentenced to eight and a half (8½) years’ imprisonment, also with time on remand and one-third remission to be deducted.

Both men were sentenced at the St. Christopher High Court in Basseterre by His Lordship Justice Iain Morley KC.
