The Gingerland Secondary School (GSS) hosted its highly anticipated annual cross-country races on Friday, October 31, 2025, bringing excitement, energy, and strong competition to the streets of Gingerland.
All races began at the school’s main gate, with each category following carefully mapped routes through the surrounding communities.
Junior Girls: Competitors turned around by the Gingerland Police Station, continuing through Hardtimes, Rawlins, and Old Manor before returning to the school.
Junior Boys: Runners made their turn at Brino’s Shop, passing through Hardtimes, Rawlins, and Old Manor on the return leg.
Senior Boys and Girls: Both divisions turned at Brino’s, then continued through Hardtimes, 16 Acres, Rawlins, and Zetlands, rejoining the main road before finishing back at the school.
The event showcased exceptional athleticism, endurance, and school spirit from all participants.
