Athletics enthusiasts across Nevis are gearing up for two major cross-country showcases scheduled for next week.

On Wednesday, 26th November, the Charlestown Secondary School will stage its annual cross-country meet, featuring a full slate of races throughout the morning and afternoon across multiple age divisions.

Two days later, on Friday, 28th November, the Joycelyn Liburd Primary School will host its own eagerly awaited cross-country event, continuing a proud tradition of school-based athletics on the island.

Both events typically draw large crowds of supporters, families, and sports lovers. As such, the motoring public is encouraged to exercise caution, expect increased pedestrian activity, and follow any guidance provided by officials to ensure the safety of all participants and spectators.
