BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS — The Judicial and Legal Services Commission of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court has announced a series of appointments featuring distinguished female jurists across the region.

Her Ladyship, the Hon. Justice Marlene Carter, has been appointed to act as Justice of Appeal of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court for the period February 22 to 27, 2026, during the Court of Appeal sitting in the Territory of the Virgin Islands.
Her Ladyship, the Hon. Justice Tana’ania Small, KC, has been appointed to act as a High Court Judge of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court on February 11, February 16, and May 8, 2026. In this capacity, she will conduct Case Management Conferences for commercial matters in the State of Antigua and Barbuda.

Her Ladyship, the Hon. Justice Akilah Anderson has been appointed to act as a High Court Judge of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court for the period February 16 to May 14, 2026. Justice Anderson has been assigned to the Territory of the Virgin Islands.
These appointments underscore the continued leadership and contribution of women within the Eastern Caribbean judiciary.
