TAIPEI, TAIWAN (ROC) – The St. Kitts and Nevis Embassy in the Republic of China (Taiwan) has announced a full scholarship opportunity for nationals to pursue a Bachelor of Medicine degree at I-Shou University in Taiwan.
The Ministry of Health of St. Kitts and Nevis is inviting nationals who already hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher and have a passion for medicine to apply for the English-taught programme.
The scholarship covers tuition fees, accommodation, a monthly living allowance, textbooks, and health insurance.
Applicants must be citizens of St. Kitts and Nevis, hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher, meet the English language requirements, and must not have previously obtained a physician’s licence.
The application deadline is July 7, 2026.
“If you have ever dreamed of becoming a doctor while studying in Taiwan, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for,” the Embassy said, encouraging interested persons to scan the QR code or visit the application website for full programme details and application requirements.
“We encourage all eligible nationals to apply and wish every applicant the very best,” the Embassy added.
I-Shou University is a private university located in Dashu District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Formerly known as the Kaohsiung Polytechnic Institute (KPI), the institution was established in 1986 by I-Shou Lin, founder of the E United Group, in honour of his mother and to support the development of the communities where he began his business. The institution was officially renamed I-Shou University on August 1, 1997.
