NIA CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS (August 18, 2026)- The Nevis Water Department advises that water service disconnections for customers with overdue balances will take place from Monday, August 24 to Monday, August 31, 2026.
Customers are urged to pay all outstanding balances by Friday, August 21, 2026, to avoid disconnection.
Please note:
A $150 reconnection fee applies to all disconnected accounts.
Meter tampering will result in a $1,800 fine.
Damaged meters will incur a $2,300 replacement fee.
Water service will be restored within 24 hours of payment, except between 3:00 p.m. Friday and 8:00 a.m. Monday.
