Brown Hill, Nevis — September 14, 2026 — The Brown Hill Wesleyan Holiness Church proudly recognised three outstanding members of the Brown Hill community for their decades of dedicated service to Brown Hill and Nevis.

During a special recognition ceremony held yesterday, the church celebrated Jacqueline Glasford and Jean Tyson for their contributions to the field of nursing, and Oldain Sandy Claxton for his contributions to entrepreneurship.

Together, these three community stalwarts have devoted **more than 100 years of combined service** to the people of Brown Hill and Nevis. Through their professional careers, personal sacrifices, and commitment to community, they have touched countless lives and helped strengthen the communities they call home.

The Brown Hill Wesleyan Holiness Church expressed its deep appreciation for the honourees, noting that their contributions represent the kind of quiet, consistent service that often goes unrecognised but leaves a lasting impact.

“We were honoured to have them in our company and to celebrate their remarkable contributions,” the church said. “These are our unsung heroes, and we believe their dedication, service, and commitment deserve to be recognised and celebrated.”

The church invites the wider community to join in celebrating Jacqueline Glasford, Jean Tyson, and Oldain Sandy Claxton for their exceptional contributions to Brown Hill and Nevis.
