BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS — The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force is updating the public on the ongoing investigation into the tragic deaths of Mario Alexander Andrew and Caroline Denese Rodriques, following the completion of official post-mortem examinations.
On September 3, 2026, police officers responded to a report of a suspected double homicide at a residence in Brown Pasture, Nevis. Upon arrival, officers discovered 61-year-old Mario Alexander Andrew and 52-year-old Caroline Denese Rodriques motionless on the ground with severe injuries. Both individuals were pronounced deceased at the scene.
On September 8, 2026, autopsies were performed by Resident Pathologists Dr Adrian Nuñez Quintana and Dr Naudica Phillip. The formal findings conclude the following causes of death:
Mario Alexander Andrew (61): Hypovolemic shock resulting from multiple stab wounds to the head and face.
Caroline Denese Rodriques (52): Severe craniofacial traumatic injury resulting from multiple stab wounds to the head and face.
