St. Kitts and Nevis — October 17, 2026 — The SKNFA, in collaboration with the Ministry of Justice and Legal Affairs (MJLA), is bringing communities together through the Community Justice Cup 2026, a two-day sporting and community engagement event designed to promote unity, inclusion, positive youth development and greater awareness of justice-related issues.
The event continues today, Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the SKNFA Technical Center in St. Peter’s, with games scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The excitement will continue tomorrow, Sunday, October 18, 2026, at the Conaree Playing Field in Conaree Village, where the tournament’s Grand Finale and Community Justice Village will take place during the same hours.
The Community Justice Cup combines the excitement of football with meaningful opportunities for community participation, family engagement and public awareness. Through sport, the initiative seeks to encourage teamwork, respect, fair play and peaceful conflict resolution while strengthening relationships among young people, families and community stakeholders.
Sunday’s Grand Finale and Community Justice Village will expand the experience beyond the football field, featuring community booths, food, family activities and other attractions. The activities will provide an opportunity for residents to come together, enjoy a positive community atmosphere and engage with information and initiatives related to justice and community well-being.
Organisers anticipate that the event will help reinforce the importance of safe, inclusive communities where young people can develop their talents, families can participate in constructive activities and residents can connect with organisations working to support community development and access to justice.
The Community Justice Cup 2026 also highlights the value of collaboration between sporting institutions, justice-sector stakeholders and community partners in creating opportunities for positive social engagement.
Members of the public are encouraged to attend, support the participating teams and take part in the activities planned for both days. Residents, families and football enthusiasts are especially invited to join Sunday’s Grand Finale and Community Justice Village at Conaree Playing Field.
The initiative is implemented with the support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Justice Action Coalition Fund.
