“The next phase of Caribbean banking will be shaped by how effectively we embrace innovation, while creating greater opportunities to collaborate and leverage shared capabilities across the region,” said Starlina Roserie, Chief Corporate Banking & Digital Payments Officer at The Bank of Nevis Limited (BON).
Ms Roserie shared these reflections following her participation in last week’s Caribbean Association of Bankers (CAB) Annual General Meeting & Conference, held in the Dominican Republic, where banking professionals and industry leaders from across the region explored emerging trends, challenges and opportunities shaping the future of financial services.
“I return particularly energised by the opportunities for BON to translate new ideas, insights and best practices into greater value for our customers. This includes supporting the growth and development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through financing and financial education, while leveraging digital solutions to make banking simpler, faster and more responsive to our customers’ evolving needs,” Roserie added.

Also representing BON at the conference and AGM were Directors Adrian Daniel and Sonia Williams, along with Ruth Mitchell, Chief Internal Auditor.
Held under the theme “Securing the Future of Caribbean Banking: Trust, Resilience, and Regional Strength,” the conference addressed a broad range of issues influencing the sector’s competitiveness, sustainability and transformation.
