Charlestown, Nevis – The Premier’s Ministry, Nevis Island Administration, is inviting young adults between the ages of 18 and 35 to take charge of their financial future by participating in the 5th Annual Financial Management Workshop, scheduled for Tuesday, November 24, 2026.
Under the theme of building a brighter financial future, the workshop aims to equip young adults with practical financial knowledge and skills to make informed decisions, develop responsible money-management habits, and work towards achieving financial independence.
The full-day workshop will take place at the Jessups Community Centre from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission is free, giving young adults a chance to build financial literacy and gain valuable insights into managing their personal finances.
Participants will benefit from sessions facilitated by Ms Janesha Daniel, Certified Public Accountant, who will guide discussions on several important areas of personal financial management, including:
Budgeting
Savings and Investment
Debt Management
Retirement Planning
Asset and Wealth Generation
The workshop recognises that the financial choices young people make today can significantly influence their future opportunities and financial well-being. By developing sound financial habits early, young adults can become better equipped to manage their resources, navigate financial challenges, and establish a foundation for long-term financial security.
