As preparations continue for the commencement of homeporting operations in Saint Kitts and Nevis in November 2027, a delegation of executives from Carnival Corporation visited the proposed site for the new cruise terminal on November 2.
The delegation was accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Tourism and the St. Christopher Air and Sea Ports Authority (SCASPA).
The site visit formed part of Carnival Corporation’s official visit to the Federation. It provided an opportunity for the delegation to assess the proposed location as planning and development preparations for the facility continue to advance.
Throughout the week, the delegation is scheduled to meet with local stakeholders to further preparations for the upcoming homeporting operations. These discussions will also explore opportunities for local businesses and service providers to participate in and benefit from the anticipated economic activity associated with the initiative.
