A fair-sized crowd gathered at St. James’ Primary School on Friday, February 13, to witness the school’s annual Cross-Country Championships.
The event featured two races. In the first, junior boys and girls competed together, departing from the school grounds and running through two nearby housing projects before returning to the campus.
The second race saw senior boys and girls take on a longer route in the opposite direction, passing the Butlers Health Centre, continuing through the village, and finishing back at the school.
Students displayed determination and endurance as they battled for top positions in their respective categories.
