The Charlestown Primary School held its annual sports meet at the Nevis Athletic Stadium on Tuesday, February 20th. The distinguished patrons were former champion athletes of the school, Sheldon Dapper Lawrence and Hermia Wade. The competition between the athletes was intense, as most of them were aiming to be selected for the prestigious CPS Interprimary team for 2024.
Despite the intermittent showers, Blue House and Red House engaged in a fierce battle all afternoon, with positive spirits not dampened. After all was said and done, Blue House emerged as champions, with only a three-point lead over Red House. The final scores were as follows:
