News reaching this media house has indicated that the Caribbean Lottery Office on Prince Williams Street Charlestown was robbed sometime after 2pm today Thursday July 19, 2018.
Reports indicate that two persons entered the establishment to commit the crime. One was armed with a gun and the other was armed with a knife. They were able to make a get away with an undisclosed sum of money.
Police were seen searching the area known as the Boggs, trying to locate the perpetrators. This search yielded no results. However, the indications are that the perpetrators were captured on CCTV cameras.
Police investigates are continuing into the matter.
