CLAXTON AND LAKE REPRESENT FEDERATION AT CONCACAF DRAW

On November 28th Director of Sports on Nevis,  Jamir Claxton, departed the federation to represent St.Kitts-Nevis at the official draw for the CONCACAF U20 Championship scheduled to be hosted in Costa Rica in February 2017.

Claxton was accompanied by Lenny Lake, Technical Director for the St.Kitts-Nevis Football Association.

The draw took place at the National Stadium in San Jose, Costa Rica on November 29th where the 12 qualifying teams learned who they will come up against when the tournament begins on February 17, 2017.

St.Kitts-Nevis has been drawn in Group B with Panama, Haiti and the United States Of America. SKN will open their tournament vs Haiti on February 18th, then engage Panama February 21st, and conclude group B on February 24th with the much anticipated match versus the mighty USA.

Other groups are as follows:
Group A: Mexico, Honduras, Canada, Antigua &Barbuda
Group C: Costa Rica, El Salvador, Trinidad and Tobago, Bermuda.
The St.Kitts – Nevis team has just recently resumed training in preparation for the CONCACAF finals.
