Persons are reminded that any public document issued in the Federation to be used abroad may be authenticated with an Apostille. An Apostille guarantees that public documents issued in one country, will be valid in another country.
The General Public is advised that with effect from Tuesday, May 7th 2013, the cost of an Apostille will be increased to $55.00 East Caribbean Dollars (ECD) in STAMPS.
Individuals needing to legalize any public document with an Apostille must present the original or a notarized copy of the said document with the amount in stamps in St Kitts, to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or to the Office of the Attorney General, both located at Government Headquarters, Church Street.
