Some three weeks after the historic Inter primary schools championship held at the Nevis Athletics stadium—aka the MONDO TRACK, the Charlestown Primary School celebrated in grand style as they held an island wide motorcade on the afternoon of Saturday 21st April.
The athletes, teachers, parents and other supporters loudly tooted their horns as their made their way throughout the various villages en route.
The day before that- Friday 22nd April there was also a festive atmosphere at the school as held a celebratory party.
After the initial announcement of a historic tie with the Joycelyn Liburd Primary school the CPS was eventually declared sole champions of the 2018 event after a review of the meet was conducted.
